Strength for Women workshop with Alex – fully booked

Saturday 7th October 2-4:30pm. A personalised workshop for women. Cost £25.
Building bone density and retaining muscle mass is essential as we age. Join Alex for an invigorating workshop on body awareness, upper/lower body strengthening (emphasis on joints) and core activation, from a functional movement perspective. Traditional yoga sequences will be slowed down and explored, working around and up to postures (including handstands). Modifications and variations will make postures accessible for everyone. With time for relaxation and a little self-massage at the end. All levels welcome including beginners.You do not have to be strong for this workshop! Alex is here to give you ideas of how to incorporate strength building exercises into your practice.
